Scarlett Johansson (born November 22 1984 New York City New York, U.S.) American actor and performer whose performance versatility earned her praise in a variety of genres ranging from period drama to action and thriller. Johansson was born in New York City, and was raised by an father who was an architect and her mother, a producer. Hunter was the twin sister of Johansson was also born in New York City. She developed an interest in acting at an early age, and began auditioning for commercials at age seven. She enrolled in the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute shortly after and was a student at the Professional Children's School, Manhattan to further her education. In the Off-Broadway play Sophistry she worked with Ethan Hawke. She then had her first appearance in a film with North (1994) which was directed by Rob Reiner, at age nine. Johansson then appeared in Just Cause, but she made her debut with Manny & Lo, a film about siblings left behind by their parents who flee. Next, she received the praise of critics for playing an teen girl who suffered an accident that left her damaged as she appeared in The Horse Whisperer (1998). She gained more attention with the film Ghost World (2002) as the cynical outcast Rebecca. She has delivered astonishing performances in plays like Wildflower. Renee Felice Smith started her career in entertainment as a child. She discovered her passion for acting as a young child. Smith was offered the first of her acting gigs in the age of 6. Smith was in the Dannon commercial on TV. As with many actresses who are just starting out, to refine her abilities in the theatre. While working on different productions in the USA she made her debut on stage in Wildflower. She was a student at the Stonestreet Studios Conservatory part of the New York University's Tisch School of the Arts'.
